Feeding 1000(Approx) Orphans/Physically Challenged for one month every year
TANA Foundation, known for its relentless thirst to help the needy is raising funds for Orphanages and Schools that serve the Orphans and Physically/Mentally Challenged children. With a goal to gain support and inspire many for this great cause, a few volunteers ran Chicago Half Marathon on September 11th, 2011 and Detroit Free Press Half Marathon on October 16th, 2011. The idea is to raise Rs One Crore (US$225,000) and put them in an endowment. Interest generated is expected to be close to Rs.10 Lakhs. This money will be distributed among 10 well deserving Orphanages every year.
Some of the orphanages already selected are having their websites as follows:
All the above organizations are very well run by their volunteers/founders and need resources to sustain and expand their services to more. We are researching some more organizations to add to the list.
The total amount to be raised is split into 1000 units of $225 each. We request you to contribute some of your charity dollars and support us in this noble cause. We would much appreciate if you can consider at least one or more units but any amount of support is good and much appreciated. Target is big and we hope you will consider that when you decide on the number of units of support.
You can be rest assured that all the money donated by you reaches the end user as TANA Foundation has near zero overheads.
Please send your donation in the name of ‘TANA Foundation’ and mention in the memo as ‘Project – Orphanages’ and mail it to 32296, W 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48334.
